I noticed it when my friend got some once but I don't know why people make such a big deal about it because chips themselves are noisy as hell it's hardly the time to start being picky about bags.

Seriously if you were trying to quietly eat chips in the first place you're a dummy

You're being too generous about these people. iirc the reason why this got media attention is because of the complaints the bag had... IE how noise pollution was apparently more severe than actual pollution and why these bags are being scrapped for the old ones.
