which string? i still play my shitty old acoustic with a broken top E. i never bothered replacing it coz my dads got a hella god acoustic

d string.  for some reason my LP breaks the d string all the time, which is really annoying because it wastes a whole pack of a strings just to get to one to put one on, so i'm in the process of changing all my strings now.

yeah middle strings are a bitch when they break. I started getting elixer strings because they come with an extra E and sometimes a B as well which is pro.

i've never had problems with my high strings breaking though.  I mean they have in the past, but I've honestly had more problems with my D and my A string breaking a lot, which is really annoying because they always break at the bridge, so they are still flopping around when you are performing and stuff.   I suspect it might have something to do with the humidity in my house or something like that because that is the only thing that I can think of that would cause this to happen.  (I don't tend to think that I use the lower strings on my guitar more either, but I might and am just not conscious of it).  Also I'm talking electric guitar here.  This has happened on both my LP and strat.  My acoustic doesn't particularly folllow a pattern

i've not heard of that happening before, kinda strange. The strings that break for me are the top couple and my bottom E when detuning a lot.

it was on some other forum. a guy was posting pictures and then another guy started posting similar pictures. then a third guy, the guy who posted that message, started yelling at the second guy for stealing the topic and was told to shut the hell up.
