Hey,

Obviously I can't say for certain as I'm a poor student who doesn't like to pay for doctors but my flatmates had the exact same symptoms as me and one of them went to hospital even so I'm pretty sure I have it.

Current symptoms:

Feel like dying
Body is achy and joints hurt
RUNNY POOOS!
bad cough
worst flu in the world

etc

Anyone else??

maybe you just have the flu? i had the flu a few months ago. it sucks, but it only lasts a week to a week and a half usually so just tough it out.

Nah its not just the flu man, its like 100 times worse. Like it fully knocks you out for a few days to the point where you feel like fainting 24/7.

Also I was just thinking, it's so weird how the world has this culture where no one believes you when you say your sick.

iirc Swine Flu's symptoms aren't even really different than the regular flu! it's not more extreme or anything.

no man that's the actual flu, the actual flu hits hard but in new zealand we call a bad cold or even food poisoning the flu.

A few people I know have had Swine Flu and they've basically said it was the worst thing ever. I don't think you'd be well enough to be posting on the internet if you had swine flu? I could be wrong though, but that's what i've always thought.

if it gets worse i'd go to the doctor though. you may very well be developing pneumonia (i almost got pneumonia a few years back when i got the flu. it sucks.)

also: one of laila's flatmates got swine flu and smoked up, had to go to the hospital. don't do ganja if you've got the flu!!! it's bad for your respiratory system!!!

Yeah I had the Swine Flu. I freaked out on IRC when the symptoms started showing up, then I blacked out and were apparently rushed to the hospital. People had to fill in the gaps for me and according to statements I had started acting like a pig. My doctor said that I was really close to becoming a real pig, and had they been one minute later my name would now be Danny the Swine.

Yea uh I don't have my friend on reference to say for sure but basically those are the symptoms my friend had and she definitely had it. I don't remember any of it very well but I'm like 90% it was somehow important that she didn't have stomach flu symptoms just the head and body stuff. This is a really uninformed post but the point is I think you oughta go in first thing, and it wasn't a big deal at all, she was just out of action for a week.
