For those of you who are new: GW has been running a fantasy football league on Yahoo for the past few years and it is always a big bushel of fun! If you haven't joined a fantasy football league before, now is a great time to try!


Here are the current League and Scoring Settings, but they are SUBJECT TO CHANGE. I mostly just migrated the scoring settings from last year but made a few notable changes per yahoo's recommendation that we can BICKER over (Passing TD's are now 4 points instead of 6, Throwing a pick is -1 instead of -2, getting sacked doesn't lose points, and 40-49yd FG's are 4 points)

i lost steam for yahoo fantasy baseball/football a long time ago. particularly football as i'd always miss the draft and end up with DAUNTE CULPEPPER on my team and a quarterback invariably headed for the IR.

aaaaaaah only 6 teams signed up so far. I'd really like at least 2 more! Please sign up!

It's OK if you haven't played before, I promise you will have a lot of fun choosing your players and bench each week and doing RESEARCH on things you don't quite understand. The more teams we can get, the better!

Also, I changed INT's to -2 and sacks to -1. the vote for passing TD's is tied, so that is UP IN THE AIR.

Alright, added a new poll to let you guys choose a day/time for the draft. If you have a specific date in mind, feel free to post that too.

Any night except for Tuesday or Thursday works for me.

I'm going to change the draft date to Wednesday, Sept. 2 at 8 PM EST if no one has any objections. I may also open this up to the public to hopefully get a few more teams to join.

I'm going to have to miss the draft.  Fucking idiot employee of mine quit on me so I've got to pick up his shift that night.
