I just booked a flight to Australia. I'll be staying there for about three weeks and while I have a place to stay I also only have a very small amount of money to last the time. Some of you are Australian and some of you have probably been there:

What the heck is there to do in the Sydney area that doesn't cost much? Any tips about Australia? Talk about Sydney and drop all your Sydney trivia right here. Lay a fact on me. I've got no clue and I don't want to waste a good opportunity here.

I am interested in seeing cool nature and animals, so if you know anything I should look around for tell me. Keep it all fairly local though cos like I said I don't have much money.

I've never been there but I hear that if you don't watch your back you'll get mugged by Kangaroos in the back streets

Will you have any cash on you? Cause I've got friends that hired a beach buggy on some tiny island next to Australia and had a blast for a couple of days with it, slept over there and got woken up by tasmanian devils or something too. That's about the only thing I know about the country >_>
