To die at 77 isn't that bad, nowadays seeing as more people are dying at such young ages. Regardless, my respects and condolences to his family members and friends. Fuck cancer.

This really sucks. For most of his career he pushed for health care reform, and now to be this close and to die before it can be passed is just really terrible. RIP.

I remember hearing about his cancer fight on NPR about a year ago. I've always had a place for those Kennedys. Real upstanding folks. Whoever shot JK and RK are evil people in my book. I don't want to say there's no hope for the U.S. anymore, but the loss of the Kennedys was the loss of a potentially great era.

a friend of mine wore a dead kennedys shirt unknowingly the day he died.

anyway iirc it was a big thing when he endorsed obama or whatever so at least there's that before he went.
