Since it's kinda slow here...was anyone else at Fan Expo in Toronto this year? Any stories + pics + anything interesting?

I went on Saturday as a guardian from ReBoot, and might have seen you there.

oh it's winter down here so probably have to wait a while for that one. i think there was a heat pump expo but i didn't go

I think those conventions are actually quite interesting from a sociological point of view but I havent bothered to do any research on them.

I was supposed to go with my friend (who was paying since he wanted to see Spock but didn't want to go alone) but I am pretty sure he just got high and forgot to call me. Thanks, buddy.

I was actually pretty excited about going, but now I didn't. We wanted to cosplay as turn of the century intelligensia (namely I wanted to be Isambard Kingdom Brunel). Now... now we'll never make it...

My friends cosplay for the san diego comicon every july so if you find yourself a group of dressed up asian chicks and maybe some lone straggler with normal clothes, that guy's me.

i am going to an anime convention with a bunch of friends in november.

some girl volunteered to make us costumes if we went as the sailor scouts so we are. she is going to be the tuxedo bama but unfortunately we don't have a sailor moon.
i think its maybe the first big convention in my area and not sure there will be many people so it might be less funny and more akward than i anticipate too.

if the person doing this was a man with a little bit of resemblance it would be awesome

a woman in a tuxedo with the word OBAMA written across her chest, not so much

wait, are you going to Youmacon? it's in November and it's pretty big so i was just curious if that's the one. i went back in 2007 cosplaying as L from Death Note, and it was a lot of fun. i'm going again this year

i am cosplaying one of these three: Ness from EarthBound, Ed from Cowboy Bebop, or Maxwell from Scribblenauts (which hasn't come out yet but it is going to be BIG when it does)
