I just spent a bunch of time researching bootmii, and usb loader gx and i took a step and bought an 80gb portable hardrive. now I just wonder, i think I saw something about it, but does the usb loader have the capabilities of running homebrew software off the usb that i normally use my sd card for? because I'd like to make the sd card my bootmii back up of my hard drive. When I format a partition of this drive into the special format, can't recall it off the back of my head, I can still use the other partition for say media that I can play on my wii? will media load from the usb as well?

you can if you have your drive formatted in FAT32.

For those still looking into getting homebrew(channel) on their wii, I recently heard about bannerbomb.


I haven't tried it yet, but those interested should look into it: from what I see, all you need is an sd card. Pop it in your sd card, pop your sd card in, magic.

noone answered my question if u can jus send a link to a tutorial btw the twilight hack is wat u were on about mr.eltee (well i think) i used it it rox took literally 5 mins easier than hackin a psp

nah LT is talking about BannerBomb. You don't need any game to do it, you just go to your channels SD card screen and put the sd card in and it runs the code.

ok il take it u cant run gc backups off a sd card so how do i fix the (could not run dvd 348 error) when i use gc backup loader

modding your wii and installing .wad files is awesome. Usenet has pretty much all of the virtual console games which is p. cool
