offside: player is in front of both ball and opposing player furthest towards his own goal at moment when pass is played. player must be involved in active play.

FIFA 10 came out today. Opinions?

Speaking of which could someone give me opinions on FIFA vs PES because I have enjoyed the PES games I've plaeyd (not played a FIFA yet besides street) but a lot of people talk about how horrible they are.  However they seem to be saying that because of realism, whereas I don't give a shit about that as long as the gameplay is good.  Any opinions?

Really?  I played 09 and really enjoyed it so I didn't think 10 was going to be so much more of a difference.  But idk maybe it is!

How much customization is possible in FIFA games in comparison?

i think they might've done a bit of an overhaul? idk i didn't play 09. what kind of customisation? because i love making custom teams

Just how detailed you can go with custom teams/players/kits/the whole nine yards.  I love that shit and don't want to play a game that neglects it.

PES and Winning Eleven are the same thing, just different names for different regions.

I picked up FIFA 10 and It feels really different to 09. The graphics aren't as good either which is strange! I've never liked PES because I've not been able to cope with it being unofficial. It is not the WEST LONDON WHITES it is FULHAM.  FIFA is easier than PES apparently, but I couldn't say. I loved 09 and I guess I'll love 10 in time. Not sure about customization or anything though I haven't checked that out yet. The soundtrack isn't as good though
