how i met your mother is absolutely terrible. i watched 10 minutes of it once and it was 10 minutes of very very bad tv. i'm not tolerating it getting praise. it stinks. here is a scale:

no-way is it worse than two and a half men though. it'd be less horrible to watch charlie sheen actually stomp on the faces of women for half an hour I think

Like most shows you really have to give it a chance, when the concept was explained to me by a friend I thought it sounded ridiculous but since then have gotten really into it.

Anyone care about the new stargate show? I was a big fan of the original and Atlantis despite how poorly it ended.

just The Office and Sunny, and I usually end up watching them online anyway.

oh also technically i've been watching a lot of seinfeld recently. I downloaded basically seasons 4-9 and some of 3 and i've watched them about once through. great show.

I've never seen Seinfeld, apparantly it was bigger than Friends over in the US.. at least thats what I remember hearing somewhere, its not as popular over here in the UK in my opinion.

I've been watching a lot of LOST online.  Can't wait for the 6th season next year.  It's a hell of a long time to wait for a new season but the writers are so damn talented I could care less.  As long as they give it a decent ending that hopefully makes sense, I'll be happy.  I have to admit though, season 5 was weak.  Especially compared to the first 3 seasons.  The show may have gotten worse but it's still manages to be better than most other shows on TV.

Another show I've been watching with vague interest is the mentalist.  Simon Baker's character is great but the rest of the cast blows.  The stories aren't that good either.  It does have a really good soundtrack though. 

i watched the first 3 episodes of sunny in philadelphia at my friends house oN dEmAnD. i hated it for the first few minutes before i realized everyone is supposed to be an asshole and now i love it.

Ive been getting really into Medium and re-watched an old show from back when I was a kid, Freaks and Geeks. It only had season to it but I cant believe the cast it had, no one I reconised back then but now... most of these guys have become movie stars, damn!
