I'd check with your doctor first, to make certain it IS the flu and not some other ailment with similar symptoms. Then...
What climbtree said. Rest, food- chicken soup and lots of vitamin c. Slightly warm saltwater for sore throat- I find adding cloves helps numb the pain. Just 15 seconds in the microwave, and a "pinch:" of salt. Not REALLY salty- that just dries out your throat.
Oh, and drink HOT/warm liquids, not cold ones- My doc says(and personal experience shows) that cold ones, even though they may numb the pain, actually make sore throats worse.
