Does anyone here know the band Fuck Buttons?

Fuck Buttons are a "synth-noise" duo from England who have just released their second album "Tarot Sport." and it's really really good. I first discovered this band when they were touring with Battles and The Dirty Projectors (what a show that was, gave me about a billion indie cred points) and they're pretty cool. I'd probably describe them as "noise music for indie kids"

One of the most exciting acts around at the moment imo. Their two albums are Street Horrrsing and Tarot Sport respectively if anyone feels like checking them out.

There's a song in the next album I'm doing that is very much like Fuck Buttons.

I never listened to them because they have a stupid name. that one song was good tho

The new album is perhaps a little too tuneful at times but I like it a lot. I them them both a lot actually, I'll be honest.

Probably because the name makes them sound shallow and irritating. I don't know if that is a good assumption to make, but the name did keep me from checking this topic for a while because it seemed dumb.

stupid. I think Fuck Buttons is a terrific name. It rolls in your mouth.

I don't really care if people like them or not to be honest! In fact no-one has come in and said they don't like them so it's not that. It's just they're one of my favourite musical groups at the moment and I'm surprised more people haven't heard of them because GW is quite savvy normally. Yeah, like, no-one has said anything I guess people just like are not interested.

Whenever I read "savvy" I think of gravy for some reason
