Rare seem to have a knack for making almost immposible games. Ask anyone who's played battletoads (nes).

Battletoads. Holy shit, that game pissed me off so much.

I'm easily frustrated, and since I play games to relax, I'm likely to turn them off if they frustrate me. . . so yeah, quite a few games have 'beaten' me.
Check it out! I'm doing NaNoWriMo this year!

Out of this World

I have never loved a game and hated it so much at the same time as I did with this game. Towards the end I would do a victory dance every time I got a new password.
Yeah this fucking game too

some of the sidequests at the end of final fantasy x are ridiculously annoying. (chocobo thing and the lightning dodge come to mind)

It was especially insane if you'd already figured out how to jump into first airport early and had taken several joyrides. Even if you had your pilot stat mastered, I believe you still had to go through the flight tests! There was also a side mission with the David Cross voiced character where you had to fly a remote control plane that was a regular "I want to slam my head in a door" experience.

There was something similar involving a flying creature in one of the Harry Potter games. I had to help a friend's fiancee get through that one. That reminds me of one that I actually couldn't beat, at least in the time I had with it. Same friend's fiancee was trying to get anyone who came over to the house to help her get past a "Save Giles" level in one of the Buffy the Vampire slayer games. We all tried it a few times before giving up.

Oh god. I'm still trying to recover from the experience. It was the mission called "supply lines".

Those missions where easy for me. but most of the Battle Toads games got me really good.

Theme Hospital, apparently I never understood that game.

Also this one DK64 minigame, it was imposible. It was about sending these minions into a hole within time limit.

I remember not being able to beat Dark Yojimbo, they made you have to fight him 4-5 times in a row which was impossible with his KO move.

fuck your shit, ghosts n goblins

i have never loved a game that pissed me off so bad like i love ghosts n goblins

That was hard but it was Super Ghouls N Ghosts for on the snes that got me. Beat the game and your told you have to beat the game fully powered up. Back to the start of level 1. The fully powered up weopan has a shity range too. There was no way I was gonna do that.

i'd rather be fully powered up than when ghosts n goblins just says NOW BEAT IT AGAIN ONLY IT'S HARDER THIS TIME, ALSO IF YOU DON'T KNOW THE CHEAT CODE YOU CAN'T CONTINUE

Tetris and Pacman Actually most game beat me in HARD difficulty settings :

-Devil May Cry (1) in Dante must die mode
-Godhand - Any mode except easy can beat me easily (because it gets harder if you are GOOD at the game). Managed to finish very few stages in hard.
-Most recent : Chaos legion on hard.

Nostalgia (Played these years ago)
-Altered Beast (can't beat that one stage where you become a bear or something)
-Actraiser 1/2(Take revenge via save state few months ago)
-7th Saga
-A Batman game featuring joker as the 1st boss
-Bionic commando (I was young and I have no clue how to play this)
-Any 2D castlevania series pre SOTN
-Megaman 1 - stuck at final boss
etc2

Also, I share GTA Problems as well (I can't get through some mission in Vice City).

Megaman Xtreme 2. I beat all the bosses with X and Zero in regular and Extreme mode or whatever, but I just can't beat Sigma's final form. and I could never pass the water level of subterranium.
