Quite frankly, I have never seen anything like this in all my time spend on various indie gaming forums in the past. Personally, I think MONOPOLO is one of the most hated games of all time. I have never seen a game receive so much hate that it the creator is now sent on the sidelines while everyone laughs at him and his work; never have I seen anything this bizarre.

Keep in mind that the game has NEVER received an outside review; never has received any mentioning outside any site; has never really been on anybody top 10's list, and if you dare mention its name --- the subject will always get changed.

These reasons keep me from releasing anymore games here (or anywhere else for that matter).

I stay around only to annoy people on 'What could have been.'

Oh well, the game still kicks ass, and with all the new features (star status hotels, economy changes, cpu!!!) the game is even better.

I think Monopolo is the best game ever.

There have been far worse games, but probably few worse developers. Also, what the fuck were you thinking anyway? Monopoly with anime, what made you think "this is a good idea"?

It's mostly a choice of art style, but I felt that I would try 'shaking' things up a bit by adding in the anime. A lot of my friends & family thought it was kind of cool to see the game in a different sort of light, and I respect them for that.

Besides, there is no reason to flip out over an art style; it is just a bunch of Japaneses pictures.

I really don't think this is quite necessary. For starters, I only come around here once and awhile, and never post that much anymore; two, all these game making sites have pretty much destroyed all my chances of showcasing my projects up again; and three, I like still being able to check out the screenshot topic, the blogs, the games... When your banned from here, you can not simply check these anymore.

Anyways, that is enough. I like Monopolo. For a first time full version game, it does its job. Sure, it is not perfect; however, I would not have it any other way. I did my absolute best! Now, I can't wait for its sequel someday.

Back to work for me. You guys can shut this stupid topic now; I have returned back down to earth once again.
