Oh god heres the story;

I was in montreal a week ago with 3 guys. we went out on a 5 hour drive to downtown montreal. The sights were awesome, and there were pylons every 2 steps, literally im not even kidding. All around the highway, the main streets, even some back alleys! Its the french way of being safe when driving drunk! Anyways, we hit up a club then a strip club then a club again. We were all pretty drunk and I wasnt even trying to attempt speaking french anymore haha (yes I know they speak both english and french but I found that out later). Long story short, we get these girls back to our hotel room (We at the hotel, motel .....HOLIDAY INN) and things get very.....intense. We only had one room with 2 queen sized beds. Lol. 4 guys and 4 girls.  Sadly one of my friends was an asshole and had the camcorder going. Later on I took my love interest of the night to the massive closet given to us! The next morning we said our farewells and headed back to toronto. I didn't get her number/email BUT I had a memorable night.

Call it childish, but it was a blast! Im gonna be feeling 18 even when im 40, at least, try to.

I think that feminism shit has really rooted itself deep in some heads. Because yes, even though women should be treated respectfully in social incidents along with everything else people don't fucking do it and its a personal choice. There are women that flat out don't like that shit, they don't find it attractive and from what I understand see weakness in it. And yes, if you're living from a different viewpoint where that doesn't bother you or you still choose to do it that way then fine. Thats your choice. But don't shit on some dude that spends his freetime trolling for panties on his floor because honestly whatever floats your boat and who are you on what pedistal of shit to look down on him for something so mundane.

You contradict yourself here seemingly because you think earl is acting a bit superior. If it isn't acceptable or legitimate as a 'lifestyle', then how is a person who does not act like not better than someone who does? The who's better stuff doesn't really matter, you can hate a way of behaving while behaving that way yourself. You are allowed to recognize and criticize bad things and the people who do them and your own status regarding the issue isn't really relevant if you are actually interested in working out what is right and wrong and not in just coming out on top in the argument.

Playing DandD isn't comparable to objectifying women. The first one doesn't affect anybody but the person themselves, but the second is all about turning other people into a means to an end and has historically and still is a huge problem with people which has consequences everywhere you look. It isn't important how much of an impact one drunk misogynist is going to have on the world, we aren't talking about TAKING ACTION to change Bled's lifestyle (whether he actually leads such a life or not doesn't matter either), but it is important to call this crap out when you come across it. Also, you say 'he knows it's nerdy but still chooses to do it anyway' - in this case, Bled is claiming that his way of looking at things is the correct one. He hasn't said anything indicating he knows going to bars and looking for sex every day is at best a pretty base way to live. I'm not even saying doing things like that is inherently wrong, but they definitely don't deserve to be defended as some kind of respectable lifestyle. Do you really want to be saying we should abandon feminism as a starting point for the way we treat women in society because there are a few, allegedly, who like their men to treat them like bedpost notches and possessions? There is a reason feminism is rooted deep in people's heads, and it's a good thing. It's because it is right. It's not something so flimsy that it can't stand under the pressure of some superficial asshole saying 'heh, come on. humanity is a toilet anyway...'. If you are actually interested in arguing about this, feminism wins. Don't treat women like objects, don't act like masculinity is something you have over women. These are good rules.
