Infinite Undiscovery is pretty horrible. I gave up on it for like an hour because it was kind of dumb and not very fun. I kind of enjoyed Eternal Sonata because it was a kind of enjoyable JPRG but really really dumb in places. I didn't finish it or anything because I just didn't get round to it. If you're big into JRPGS you'll probably love it though. If you're a discerning gamer than like, you won't dig it so much.

Banjo Kazooie: Nuts n' Bolts.
Saints Row 2
Final Fantasy XIII (duh, you missed this out, it should be released soon)

Edit I noticed you mentioned Blazblue, let me know if it's as good as it's supposed to be.

GTA4 if you havent played it. Lost Planet is great too, get the online coop demo for LP 2 on live, its worth it.
Okay ONE WRPG, Dragon Age Origins.

lost odyssey is really really REALLY generic and boring. It is barely playable due to ridiculous loading (30 seconds up to a minute) before each and every battle. Don't get it.

I have to disagree.  While the first hour or so of the game is a little frustrating, the game gets much better further in.  Make sure if you buy it to snag the vouchers off Live.  They make the game a little easier.

As for recommendations:

RPGs:[/i]
The Last Remnant
Magna Carta 2
Tales of Vesperia
Star Ocean 4

Fighting Games:[/i]
Soul Calibur IV
Street Fighter IV
Virtua Fighter 5
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
Tekken 6

Gaming World Mini City: Population, Industry, Transportation, Security Current rank 3950.

Fallout 3
I know it's a WRPG, but you'd definitely be missing out if you skipped it.

it doesnt seem like you'd like any of these but get fallout 3 and gta4 and mass effect and the orange box (i know it's better on pc or whatever but idc)

also get n+ from the arcade and some friends to play it with online or irl, it's sooo fucking good if you like pure platformers

I'll try out something new every once in awhile so I might get Fallout III.
but GTA IV I played it at a friends house and just could not STAND IT!!!!,which isn't suprising since the only gta game I could actually get into was San Andreas.
I forgot to add Gears of War 2.
since the Holidays are starting and all my friends are going overseas except 1 or 2 I'm not gonna have much to do.
So I'm gonna buy  like 5 or 6 games to last me 6 weeks.

Which of these games do you reckon I should get?

the ones im getting for sure are:
lost odyssey
Devil may Cry IV
and DBZ raging blast (I know this isn't all that good but my inner DBZ fan boy wont let me resist it)

Being the FPS nut that I am, i'll list a lot of those out for you. Keep in mind that a lot of these were ported from the PC, and although most people consider the console versions to be inferior, they still remain good games and are worth checking out.

The Orange Box - I'd say that this is by far the best collection that you can buy for the 360. Some of your favorite Valve games from the PC come to the 360, including: Half Life 2 + episodes, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. The game retails for around 19.99, but you can purchase it from Amazon or a game store such as EB games for approximately 15$ or so.

Left 4 Dead
Bioshock
Condemned and Condemned 2
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Halo 3

Halo ODST(Might want to wait on this one, the 59.99 retail price for a game that is essential Halo 3's multiplayer(+ a few maps) and a short campaign isn't worth it for most people. Probably isn't a game that one who doesn't general consider theirself and actual fan of the series would consider.)

F.E.A.R.

Perfect Dark: Zero - Okay so a lot of people were disappointed in this game, often bashing it for being inferior to it's predecessor...which I happen to agree with, but i've had a blast playing it online(and at a cheap price tag at around 5$, you wouldn't be losing much if you purchase it and end up not enjoying it.)

Battlefield: Bad Company - Im pretty sure that somes fans of the previous games in the series have given this a semi-bad rep, but I really enjoy it. Also the destructible terrain is a lot of fun to mess around with.

Keep in mind that you may not enjoy some of these games as much, or at least IMHO you wouldn't be getting your money's worth in absence of a live
membership(e.g. Halo 3 and PD: Zero) The Fallout 3: GOTY(Includes Fallout 3 PLUS the five expansions including Mothership Zeta) looks good and it's nice that you're at least leaving it as an option for the future, though it is an WRPG and not really an FPS(besides the whole "shooting in first person" which is usually a bad distinction anyhow.)

Ive played Burst Limit once, rented with some mates when we were drunk as and I would pass seriously on that one, played a bit of Raging Blast at a mates house which was actually pretty fun surprisingly, just the camera is quite annoying at times.

Eternal Sonata is a good play, also could try Magna Carta 2, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey and that's about it for the JRPGs, don't bother with Star Ocean 4 or any Tri-Ace game out right now for that matter. I have a feeling you wouldn't like the western ones but give Dragon Age Origins, Mass Effect and Fallout/Oblivion a try.

As for general Xbox 360 games to get I would try Forza Motorsport 3, Modern Warfare 1-2, Assassin's Creed 2(Although you really should try beating the first so you know what's going on) Dead Rising, Halo ODST, Orange Box like everyone has said, Left 4 Dead series, and there's a ton of Arcade games you can get as well, Shadow Complex for example.

I am a lazy fuck, but when it comes to suggesting 360 games, pretty much everything listed on my gamer card (click on the thing in my sig) is good.  The Last Remnant is the only thing that I'd say stay away from, but it's fairly cheap and could provide some entertainment.  I'll be going back to it eventually.

By telling yourself NO WRPGS you basically just cut your 360 RPG fun by half.  Some of the most valuable experiences in xbox would actually be WRPGs.

Mass Effect and Oblivion

The rest are just your run of the mill RPG games that you would have already experienced if you had a PS2, even an snes. Try mass effect at least, it will make your 360 time worth the price you paid for it.

I hear a lot of contention between fans and haters of Mass Effect.  I personally haven't tried it yet (I'm lazy I guess), but I'll probably pick it up sometime before the sequel launches.

yeah I guess I should try give some WPRG's a chance.
I've played a few but I just couldn't get into 'em.
I hear Last Remnant is like a mix between JRPG and Western maybe it'll help me get used to them?

Eh, I guess you could say that.  There isn't a whole lot of control over the squads of characters you control, and unit growth is random and pretty much goes without explanation as to what special abilities and statistics are...  But, it is still an interesting game.  Story isn't anything spectacular, but it's a lot of political intrigue mixed with the main character trying to save his sister.

Read some other reviews first, before deciding on it.
