Some of these games are like 8 gig and my download limit is 12. This is a problem.

well thats the good thing about steam. im buying a ton of these and not installing them, they'll be there ready for when i have time/willing to play them.

This is a much greener way of buying games. It's good they are selling them at reasonable prices too. Don't even have to leave the warmth of my home.

I had to set my screen on my laptop to 90 degrees orientation to take this. Can't wait to get back to uni and my PC that actually has a graphics card and not a piece of cheddar cheese.

I hate to circle jerk about steam but they do provide a pretty great service... I wish they'd see that cutting the cost to the point where the customer feels like he's getting a terrific deal works to their advantage, and that they'd have insane sales more often. It made me - someone who hasn't bought a game legally in over a year - make the jump on at least 3 games throughout the sale period. The word got out quickly that Steam was having a big sale and I'm sure they made a LOT of money, and got a lot of new customers - which gives them market domination. Also, all the copies are digital... they didn't lose anything in production costs. They could have sold any game for .99 and they probably still would have made nearly pure profit (savor minuscule server costs). Finally, it works well for developers because these sales no doubt greatly increase install base which will make selling sequels easier.

Well a lot of them came in huge packs, so I got a lot of games that are less then awesome with games that I like.

I've bought a shitload of titles, partly because I've been wanting to try most of them and partly because they went for around €2. I guess it's kind of nuts of me to buy so many games, but I've never been into paying €60 for a video game unless I know for sure it's good, so this was a good opportunity to catch up on games that could've potentially disappointed me.

So far I regret buying Heroes 5, Max Payne and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Heroes 5 because it's a complete piece of shit and is nothing at all like the previous games in the series, Max Payne because, well, it's not as cool as I recalled, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. because it's so horribly slow/badly coded that I can't play it for more than a couple of minutes. All in all I'm pretty satisfied with the purchases though. If you guys haven't already you should definitely get Prince of Persia, Abe and Deus Ex. They're all really good series.
