i know i've been posting a lot of pictures lately but fffffff i just got a haircut and i don't like it D: what should do i do with this?

i don't think it looks BAD or anything, but it's not at all what i wanted. it is too much shorter (like 2 or 3 inches) and just cut straight across the bottom, which i hate. i wanted something choppy, where not a single hair is the same length as another... like, scene-ish, you know?
i wanted it to look something like this one person i know:
i mean, i guess it's my fault for not bringing in that picture. or stopping the hairdresser when he was cutting, but i'm way too shy and unassertive for that...
blargh. now it feels too short to get it fixed. what should i dooo, i hate having this boring haircut

you probably forgot to tell her you wanted to look like an anime. maybe you should get a short haircut like velfarre's avatar

psh dude it was like 2 and a half inches, which is over a year's worth of hair-growing for me. it's just upsetting that i've been trying to grow it out and now it's shorter and the style isn't even what i want. i told the hairstylist to keep the length, but he did the whole "find the shortest hairs and cut the rest to match" thing, which is the opposite of what i wanted. i would have been fine with losing a little length if it meant that the style was choppy and edgy, but it made it flat and boring. plus. he cut the bangs, which were fine as they were-- i had cut them to my own preference a couple days previous, and told him so. so now the bangs are too short and thick. grrr. is it so much to ask for a girl to look nice for the start of the school year? D; i'm hopefully going back today to get it fixed, but that means it's probably gonna be even shorter... blargh. and if he messes up again, well... i'll just have to shave my head or something xP

no the problem is that it DOES look anime. it totally looks like Rukia Kuchiki (from Bleach), but with bangs. this time i wanted to look like a real person. >_<;

tell them you want it feathered thats when they cut it to varying lengths on your bangs

all three of those haircuts look shit for real though I think earlchip is right and you should cut it short
