japan and new zealand are also on fault lines, but our houses have all been built with this in mind. out last comparable earthquake was 6.8 magnitude. one person died (of a heart attack) and 11 were injured. a couple buildings did fall over.

i don't think there's a single place safe from natural disasters but yeah, one of the main reasons so many people died was because haiti is poor, otherwise they would be able to help themselves???? MAYBE THIS'LL TEACH YOU TO HAVE MORE MONEY

hundley did your friend ever turn up okay? :( i am worried.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

I'm hoping for something a bit better than that.

Fuck dude

I didn't even donate for the haiti thing and I feel bad about it. I prolly will when I get home, does anyone know if they sent the mercy ship over there? I kind of want to do something other then just sit on my ass and send a few dollars. I'm making money now and I could prolly stash a few grand away quick to just go over there for a month or two atleast.

I thought I read something about the mercy ship going there and if it went then I might call them again even though I won't get paid I still want to do something. They'll probably pick me right up, they were going to do it last time but they were in africa and I couldn't afford going over there at the time for free.
