I played this game and absolutely loved it. I do admit to the main character being a tank so it does become somewhat easy to get past the missions but other than that I have zero complaints with this one.  I am in a serious debate over this one with a buddy of mine and would like some unbiased feedback.

Has anyone else out there played this game? If so please share how you felt about it. Does anyone feel it didn't live up to it's hype or price tag?

Played it. Loved it. Although, they didn't work on it as much as they worked on Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. Let's face it, you could do a million more things in it then you can on Prototype, but damn man, it feels great to play with god-like characters.

Amen to that! I adore my god-like characters and wouldn't trade them for anything. If I want "realism" I'll play Tetris or even worse *shudders* I'll go out and play in the real world....lol

prototype's kind of fun, but it is not a polished or deep game by any means

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

Kinda liked it. Gameplay was really good and there was a lot of fun to be had hacking and slashing through the infected and cops fighting.

Control are fucking horrendous on PC though. They are incredibly counterintuitive and 90% of the game is fighting with the controls. Also every single story cutscene ended abruptly and felt rushed and misplaced... almost as if it was flat out missing movie files. (maybe it was..?). I really wanted to like mercer but he just didn't give a shit about anyone and forgot even his own sister existed after a few meetings.

I got near completing this on a friend's xbox but it hung when I was shooting some massive boss thing with a girl's name near the end. So I just watched the rest on youtube. I felt a lot better for having bought a PS3 when it had no games because now they are practically the same level with the exception that my PS3 hasn't melted. Yet.

what

Tetris is basically a geometric game. I was playing on the fact that some people complain of a lack of realism in games when I think it's the fantasy element of games that makes them fun...I certainly don't want to play a game where I fight traffic at an ungodly hour, work, then come home and clean...if I want something outside of fantasy in games I was saying I'd go play Tetris ^_^

Tetris isn't realistic. If I line up coloured blocks, they do not dissapear. Your point is null.

Hard to get used too, but it is hard. Having to do that Karen Parker mission, and blowing up military tanks.

I'm not sure but the physics in tetris doesn't feel real?
