It's the length of it that does it. I'm used to seeing my brocolli chubby and short. If asparagus went to a fancy dress party as brocolli that's what it would look like.

Also for the record I eat a lot of brocolli cause I buy it frozen with cauliflower and just add it to most meals. It's probably the only reason I haven't died from malnourishment.

Had some Trader Joes mixed grains blend (Israeli couscous, Orzo, Quinoa) and then some kale with soy sauce and sesame seeds.
