Wanted to make Iranian but I couldn't be bothered cooking for hours. Made pasta. Feel ashamed.

Making pasta is not something to be ashamed of. Plenty of people whose only experience with pasta is Mac 'n Cheese.

I spose you're right, it just feels lazy prepping for a 4 hour meal and doing a 20 minute one. I do love my pasta regardless.

I haven't been cooking lately because I haven't been taking care of myself but the dark days are over. I'm gonna learn some new recipes that aren't just curry or noodles with a lot of chili. I'm at work tonight though so I'm just gonna eat fruit and crisps.

Bumpity bump bump bump.
I made some pumpkin pie (two pumpkin pie), here are some shitty phone pics of it:

Pumpkin pie 1, the best looking one imo. I had some weird lighting setting on my camera for this one though so it looks a little funny.

Pumpkin pie 2, apologies for the terrible lighting.

Now off to make some corned beef sandwiches for lunch at 4:30pm.

I just made some garlic bread w/ extra garlic butter, pasta w/pepper and parmesan, and home fries w/ seasoning salt I stole from a local A&W's with garlic dip on the side of it all (i really like garlic) and had a coke with ice to drink for lunch mere minutes ago.

It was fucking awesome.

i haven't actually cooked anything for a really long time, everyone's meals are making me jealous! Also makes me want to cook properly.

I've got some alaskan pollock (frozen) i've had them for ages but I really don't know what to make with them.

edit: i think i might have a go doing this:
Quote
Merluza. Added two layers of egg and flour, spices, put it on Korean white rice and topped that with diced onion sauteed in chorizo fat and ajvar, and for color I added steamed string beans.

It seems like all I eat these days is brown rice, boiled eggs, tuna fish+veganaise sandwiches, and veggie stir fry with tofu or chicken topped with curry powder. Occasionally I'll get a sandwich or gyro when I'm out but my meals are fuckin boring lately.

I got some Thai curry pastes and a bunch of coconut milk recently so maybe that will improve my boring ass food-life for a while. I wanna pig out on greasy fried minced lamb samosas really soon I don't know how long I can hold out on this!

There's a little pan-Asian place nearby me that sells these wonderful fried egg rolls for 50 cents each and it takes every ounce of willpower in me to not just go 'fuck it' and get a dozen of them and hate myself

That DOES look amazing, but for some reason 'Fish' and 'Pasta' combo makes a really uneasy image in my mind. I know it's totally irrational, but like my brain screams "FISH DO NOT GO ON A SPAGHETSI".

I mean whenever I've had it (mostly tuna) I've pretty much enjoyed it, but every so often I realise "gross, there's fish in this!"
Hey hey hey
