watch out bud Sredni almost died from totino's pizzas. I forget if he actually had a heart attack or just came close, but he was really young for having that kind of problem
I really like Jarritos tangerine-flavored soda. You find fruit-flavored sodas all over the place, yet this is the only one that actually tastes like its fruit.
Also, what is considered "authentic" Mexican food? I don't think I've ever been to an authentic Mexican place, just American restaurants that serve variations of tortillas, beans, meat, and cheese.
it depends on what kind of authenticity they're going for I guess. there's a lot of mexican food rarely seen inside the US, and a lot of that food most americans wouldn't eat.
this was more like authentic mexican-american food, which I guess is technically tex-mex but that sounds like chalupas and jalapeno cheese fries to me. like, they still had salsa and tortilla chips (actually fried torilla triangles) and chimichangas and stuff, which are all southwestern american foods, but also slightly less common but still american-friendly mexican foods
but this is still clearly separate from actual mexican cuisine which is corn, rattlesnakes and stink bugs
