watch out bud Sredni almost died from totino's pizzas. I forget if he actually had a heart attack or just came close, but he was really young for having that kind of problem

I really like Jarritos tangerine-flavored soda.  You find fruit-flavored sodas all over the place, yet this is the only one that actually tastes like its fruit.

Also, what is considered "authentic" Mexican food?  I don't think I've ever been to an authentic Mexican place, just American restaurants that serve variations of tortillas, beans, meat, and cheese.
it depends on what kind of authenticity they're going for I guess. there's a lot of mexican food rarely seen inside the US, and a lot of that food most americans wouldn't eat.

this was more like authentic mexican-american food, which I guess is technically tex-mex but that sounds like chalupas and jalapeno cheese fries to me. like, they still had salsa and tortilla chips (actually fried torilla triangles) and chimichangas and stuff, which are all southwestern american foods, but also slightly less common but still american-friendly mexican foods

but this is still clearly separate from actual mexican cuisine which is corn, rattlesnakes and stink bugs

Fortunately, I'm not eating them every day, not even monthly. It's more like once in a blue moon, but even then...

Braised fig and arugula salad
Pan fried asparagus with lime juice
BBQ tofu

Washed it all down with citrus kombucha.

I'm already a slave to humanity.

Run around naked - Many indigenous cultures did have some forms of clothing.  And for those that didn't, they didn't see anything wrong with not being clothed.

Make tools out of not metal - And your point?  Cultures of the past that made tools out of "not metal" seemed to do just fine with what they used them for.

I made an herb rub last night, which basically contained everything in the left half of the spice cabinet. Since I don't eat eggs, I used a little lemon juice as my liquid content. I coated a skinless boneless chicken breast with the mix, then floured it and fried it for 15 minutes. It came out great, pretty much my new favorite approach to frying chicken.

I was a little worried though, because I'd tossed in more jalapeño pepper flakes than I had meant to, and my taste test of just the rub was near fatal, but it mellowed out during cooking so the final result was fairly mild but really tasty. I think next time I'll try to make it a bit spicier to start with so that a little more heat carries through to the final product.

The  Copperhead Golf Course Review

Paul Azinger, 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain and 12-time PGA Tour winner, has described the par 71, 7,340 yard Copperhead course as being "the best discount golf clubs course we play on Tour"(ishiner), while four-time PGA Tour winner and two-time Ryder Cup player Stewart Cink says Copperhead "could host a US Open."
