I don't get what dubstep is. Is it just like slowed down drum and bass?
I mean I've listened to a fair bit of it and that's kind of how is sounds to me. Not that that's a bad thing but electrodancepartyhard music genres are confusing, man.

yeah but it didn't come out of nowhere look up grime music. What I've got figured out is there's the whole missing beat thing and WOBBLE and sort of sounds like dub music
and yes there are probably people who are good artists but you've got to admit it's a dumping ground for crap electronica right now. And people like Burial would probably be really good at whatever genre of music they touched. He could just as easily do trip-hop shits and it'd be just as good. Isn't he remixing the new massive attack album because that's how I felt when I heard him it's like this guy is everything I thought was cool about massive attack in the early 00's and like I knew there was still potential in that era and they just kind of fudged it after Mezzanine
but I dunno if you went on youtube and listened to 8-10 tracks each by a unique artist and enjoyed them you're entitled to your opinion
