Yeah, my PS3 went down last night. It works now though, they've been at it and IGN has been updating us on the progress. Check to see if your PS3 can runs games now.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.

Its a flippant remark meant to make me smile. All of those things I listed are things that I've either been doing or need to do.(plasma physics and fluid mechanics are two course names that MIT offers through their opencourseware service which I've been using lately)

what happens with any computer system is that when you lose a game a percentage of your computer is permanently destroyed, or 'nullified' (this is why computers fail after a while). sony didn't take this into account when they made their playstation network, instead of nullifying portions of the users console they destroyed the network itself. all it really needs is a full reboot and everything will be back to normal.
