did anyone really have to know climbtree was talking about reboot to keep them from reacting with UGH THAT MAKES NO SENSE WHATSOEVER

it was obvious it was a joke whether you knew what it was from or not (i didn't!!!) so why would you react to it that way

I didn't read this thread fully so I don't know if it's already been derailed, but all I have to say is that this is another reason why you should never be an early adopter of any system. Always wait for the new and improved model. (unless it's nintendo then don't bother because they remake their systems every month)

this has really only been a problem with this generation of consoles, and even all the problems considered the people who jumped on early with the PS3 basically have full backward compatibility with all games designed for sony systems while the newer ones don't. Hell the "new and improved" slim PS2s were pretty notorious for having more problems than the old fat ones.

That’s right, you have the young gaming with the old(er), white people gaming with black people, men and women, Asian countries gaming with the EU, North Americans gaming with South Americans. Much like world sporting events like the Wolrd Cup, or the Olympics will bring together different nations in friendly competition, (note the recent Asian Cup; Iraq vs. Saudi Arabia, no violence there) we come together. The differences being, we are not divided by our nationalities and we do it 24-7, and on a personal level.

We are a community without borders and without colours, the spirit and diversity of the gaming community is one that should be looked up to, a spirit and diversity other groups should strive toward.
