Hi.

I am curious if anyone has written any guides about making a Strategy battle system in RPGMaker.
I'm thinking of something relatively simple to augment my game.

For example, in Suikoden II, with the characters on map. Three hits to down a unit.
Or Treasure Hunter G (SNES).

I'm not sure if anyone has written what you've requested, but all I'll say is that if you think you'll need this degree of help in scripting such a thing in RM2k/3, then you're probably not ready to have one in your project.

I am fairly certain i can figure it out on my own, but i'd like to have an example to work with. For all those lightbulb moments on things i did not think of.

I'm not sure how relevant it is but I think I remember the game Exit Fate having a strategy battle system although I don't know how similar it is to what your after. Maybe it could help with those lightbulb moments off yours?
