1) KOG AND BROWN - PISTOLS AT DAWN
Great intro track. SO MUCH RHYMES! I can't even handle this many rhymes. Also the samples are great. Would love some lyrics to this, actually. The raps really flow, this is exceptional. I don't know much about this genre, but this is totally rad. a+++

2) JMICKLE - TEAR UP THE STAGE
Vocals are pretty back in the track! But, this actually works pretty well. Did you write everything, or are these samples? That piano is pretty great. Again, would love lyrics to this as well. The vocal melody in the chorus is perfect.

3) FALCONSHIELD, BIGGLES, JMICKLE, JARED SHADE, KOG AND PTIZZLE - THE SALTWORLD SETUP
couldn't wait for this track. And FUUU, PTizzle when your rap hits, it hits hard. Love it. (2 girls one cup) This is AWESOME and everyone needs to hear this. Seriously, this is rad and everyone involved should be proud. Love it. a+++++     +   ++

4) FALCONSHIELD - FALCONSHIELD
SQUISHY BASS. and distortion. interesting sound, it works pretty well though. haha. this track is awesome. again, would like lyrics to this.

5) PTIZZLE AND JOJOFACE - THEY CAN OPEN DOORS (RAPTORS I MEAN)
This was a fun track to work on. The THEME for the song was 'HOPE', and PTizzle definitely hit home there. The lyrics are brilliant and I learned a bit about making hip-hop songs. Hope my poor mixing didn't totally ruin the song, haha.

6) ABORTO GUEI - GEORGE BENSON RAP
haha, what. i almost believed that WAS george benson playing guitar. awesome song aa++++

7) JMICKLE - GIFT
again, are these samples? I'm pretty sure some of it is, but what is original? either way it's lovely. I really love that palm muted clean guitar chuck riff. really full sound, and its really rad. vocal melodies again are really nice and understated. one of my favorites so far. also, lyrics? can barely understand what's being said. aaaaaaaaaa+

8) FUCKASSBITCH - EMINEM
haha, freaking awesome. the troubadours always bring the best to the table.

9) ABORTO GUEI - GYPSY RAP
I, too, love the riffs in this. Perhaps riffs isn't the appropriate word. A great ending to another great Troubadours effort imho. upload a video of you playing this song, it's totally rad.

a++ work everyone!

Havent listened it through just yet but I have 2 comments nonetheless.

PTizzle - You inserted my posse verse wrong :P it's supposed to hit a half note later(or something, not really familiar with music expressions in english)...but I guess it worked anyway.

Parker - Lyrics to my song are posted in this troubadours thread in the creativity -forum. They are written by JMickle btw.

Here are the lyrics for my 2 verses, though I don't have Brown's. (Warning skill heavy)
It was a lot to shove into my time slots so I had to go through it pretty quickly.

Sorry Falco, I just put it in how it sounded right to me! I think it works as an opener well.

Man...hot fire this album is. Good job everyone! My favourite track was the saltworld setup.

I nominate falconshield for funniest performance! :D . I must say though this wasn't much of a hiphop album but moreso a mix of a few genres. hell 2 tracks didn't even have vocals. Regardless, good hustle team!

this was heaps of fun. the opening track had a great beat plus KoG had hardcore dense rhymes and Brown was funny and energetic. They Can Open Doors had an interesting beat - I don't know if I've heard a rap track that sounds like that before but it worked, especially on the theme 'hope'. There isn't much to say about PTizzle's rapping that hasn't already been said. Uh, all I have left to say is I respect JMickle for having the balls to sing his own hooks but he needs to mix his goddamned vocals such that they are audible over the beat.

good job to everyone who worked on this!

I'm guessing that mixing them in such a way that they are audible in the final mixdown is perhaps one on of the first steps to mixing vocals?
