BEER!!!

Until a couple of years ago, the only beer I ever drank was the occasional Sam Adams or Heineken. Then my roommate gradually introduced me to some different beers like Harpoon IPA and Magic Hat #9. When I turned 21, I discovered this sweet local bar/restaurant called Sunset Grill & Tap that has >110 beers on tap. Ever since then, I've been fascinated with trying new beers.

Personally, I love IPA's and Double IPA's. My absolute favorite beer is Dogfish Head 90 Minute. It's got this faint grapefruit aroma and faint citrusy aftertaste that gives me an orgasm and a half...
For IPA's, I also like Bear Republic Racer 5 and, more recently, Legunitas Maximus.

Other beers I've enjoyed: Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, Allagash White, Magic Hat #9, Whale's Tale Pale Ale

I've tried a few porters and stouts and here and there but I'm not really a big fan of darker beers. Yeti Imperial Stout was pretty good, as was Founder's Breakfast Stout but they're not beers I could drink regularly. Any recommendations would be nice!

Talk about your favorite beer here! What are you favorite/least favorite styles of beer?

I am unsure if I have access to all the different types of beers you guys have overseas and shit, but since I turned 18 I've been to a couple of pubs/bars/whatever and I'm partial to Corona mostly. Though if anyone decides to come to New Zealand and wants to try New Zealand beers, try Radler, it's fucking great.

I'm more of a wine cooler guy (pussy).  But I do like my Heineken.  I honestly haven't dabble all that much into beers though, so I'm sure I'm missing out on all the fancy stuff, although given my general lack of interest in most beer, I am not particularly concerned about it at this time.

The best beer I've ever had was a nameless honey beer in a basement pub in Tallinn, Estonia.

Favorite beer is Mac & Jacks African amber. Its a heavy and strong beer without being too dark and thick.
There's also another beer i really like called Mothership Wit organic wheat beer which is a little lighter with a hint of citrus in it

I like beer just fine but I am too afraid of becoming a Beer Guy to care that much. I have a bottle of beer like once a week or less, and I'm usually trying different kinds so I don't really have a favorite. the exception is oktoberfest when I favor franziskaner weissbier

if I'm just out drinking I prefer yuengling lager or pbr

I like Guinness in bars (i tried canned guinness once it was terrible idk if it's really bad but this is my sole level of beer snobbery dont take it from me) and whatever's cheapest for home (usually number one Bass or this Brazilian beer called Brahma which is nice if a little sweet). I haven't found a least favorite but I remember drinking a pint of either heineken or budweiser or carlsberg or some other big lager and it smelt just like dried blood and made me feel gross so I try to steer clear of them in general.

Huge fan of Chimay Blue, but Sam Adams (and PBR if reallly on a budget) is the ace in the hole. Can't stand a lot of american pilsners. Haven't found anything else remarkable, sadly. Grolsch was fun only in name

Guinness makes me have asthma. It happened to my friend after we moved to another pub he got his inhaler out and I was like hey can I borrow that.

On May 28th when I am free of learning I am going to get me a nice bunch of Cains Ales. They're made in Liverpool and they're pretty awesome. The Double Bock is pretty strong ~8% but it's pretty fantastic too.

Out of the mainstream football sponsor style beers I think my fave is Peroni though I did go through a Heineken phase.

I shouldn't be posting. Especially about my main weakness!

p.s. Mark that ale looks fiiiiine.

Huge fan of Chimay Blue
yeah love this too. pretty much all Belgian beer is great.

Grolsch and Heineken are only and so. Hertog Jan is the best Dutch beer.

Then again, I'd drink it just because opening up the bottle is fun.

I love beer. Most beers I've tried are mexican of course, but I can safely say that dutch, belgian and german beers are incredible. The list is so big, so I'll just put my favorite one here:

what kind of Dutch beers do you like? I've never been too keen on them myself aside from a couple that are good. the rest isn't bad by any standards but they seem boring to me somehow. I prefer German beer for the light stuff and Belgian beer for the stronger and darker. but I don't know, maybe this is because foreign stuff is naturally more interesting to me and I'm not being entirely fair.

The ones I've tried are from the most common brands Amstel, Grolsch and Heineken. I like regular Heinekens. Everyone told me that Amstels where terrible but I liked them a lot. In The Hague I had a chance to try many Grolsch varieties, premium blonde rocks. :D
