I'm still right behind you in points Esh! Hopefully my strategy of conserving transfers will pay off. I can still make 7 more after tomorrow.. so if something goes horribly wrong I should still be able to have enough players to transfer that will be playing in the final match.

bit surprised by this germany v argentina match so far. germany are walking the ball into the net, it just seems too easy for them. i was sorta expecting it to be the other way round.

To their credit I think that Argentina played a pretty good offensive game... it's their defense that was suffering. And some of them appeared to have lost their cool once the score was 2-0, which obviously didn't help.

i have a pained knowledge of the '74 final so i really hope that's the outcome. johan neeskens has to be one of the most underrated football players. i guess it's hard playing behind the greatest ever!

edit: bastards. i'm still missing sneijder's first goal from yesterday. they've awarded it to him, damn it!
