ugh this looks disappointing. It looks more like tatsunoko vs capcom than its predecessor. I hope its not as easy as tatsunoko either. the whole game was just button mashing. 1+2 on the wiimote did supers....

What amazed me most in mvsc2 was the amount of playable characters. 56! Now I bet, due to the focus on graphics, they're going to cut the char list by at least half. AT LEAST!
If im wrong and there are 50+ characters (which, again, I doubt), I'll be really happy. hell even 40+...30+....25...

yeah but dude how many of those characters did you consistently play as? it was fun to try out a new character every now and then but for the most part I stuck to the same five or six characters. you don't need 50! at the same time I really doubt there will only be like ten. Probably AT LEAST twenty.

also how is THE FOCUS ON GRAPHICS going to cut down on characters? how did mvsc2 NOT have a focus on graphics? the animations in mvsc2 are very impressive and while I don't know anything about 3D animation I wouldn't be surprised if these new graphics are actually easier to make

You're right, they should just recycle 15 year old sprites again.
And about the number of characters...MvC2 had maybe 10 really usable characters. Have you ever seen an MvC2 tournament? It's all just Storm, Sentinel, and Magneto. I'd be happy with a smaller cast of more balanced characters.
I'm expecting 36 characters.

Most of the sprites in MvC2 were recycled from old games like MvC1, X-Men: Children of the Atom, Dark Stalkers, Street Fighter Alpha, and more.

not really a fanboy just that the 360 e3 impressed me alot more than nintendo or sonies i thought nintendo was awesome but man theres 5 different DS' and im sure the 3D wont be very good not to mention the 3DS looks fuck ugly.

The 3DS is a new system. That's like saying "Man there is no point of getting a DS when I have a Game Boy Advance SP!"

... 3DS really needs a new name lol. People think it's an upgrade. And it's not. 3D is pretty much a play around gimmick experiment. Maybe it will work. Maybe it won't. Touch screen sure did.

lol after that rant i still will be getting the 3DS though hopefully therel be a turn 3D off function cause it might get annoying, after i heard about ocarina of time 3D i thought man i need this,not to mention Kid Icarus.
