honestly I could do music for this for a while now I've wanted to do music that actually feels physically uncomfortable to listen to/stuff like that
also I had a theory the other day that all dreams are in mono if there is any music/sound because you're hearing 'internally' not with ears
no so best dream I ever had was I was at a stadium except it wasn't real like an episode of the simpsons like duff stadium and I dunno it's sort of just going around to different people at the bleachers and then it suddenly cuts away to this huge grey head that looked just like Tor Johnson
http://www.deathstudios.com/Masks/categories/Tor_Johnson_mask.jpg except gray but not made of stone I don't think but I don't think my mind could decide whether it was or wasn't so he just moved stiffly like frame by frame but also stiff like stone and he also had glowing red eyes so essentially he was a combination of tor johnson with that big stone head from Legends of the Hidden Temple and then he opens his mouth the same way and goes OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHHH like in the loudest most booming voice like you wouldn't even believe and the dream ends cold sweat probably wet myself too
I have plenty of dreams but most of them resemble going to places from my real life except they're more weird and run-down like going to college but everything's all rainy and foggy and overgrown foliage and there are none of the cool modern buildings just the plain ugly concrete ones with water damage and stuff I think and it's like surrounded by nothing but woods there's always the possibility there are other things beyond the woods but there's a real sense like this is the only human architecture for miles and if you tried to find your way out it would be like the first zelda where you'd keep coming back to the same area. I also had one similar dream at a supermarket where there was nobody there and the produce section was all overgrown and possibly the plants were alive and trying to kill me. They're not really technically nightmares because nothing ever happens they're just really strange atmosphere. Like the one time I did get attacked by something in a dream in recent times it was like this hellhound/horse of the apocalypse sort of thing that was several times bigger than a person but it was kind of cool/exciting like lord of the rings shit instead of genuinely scary
I do kind of agree with the games as dreams sort of thing and I think this is what games are missing nowadays like game developers wouldn't really know polygon for polygon how a helicopter is supposed to look like most people would be shitty at reproducing ones in their dreams and the graphic style/feel of early games was sort of like accidental dream logic on purpose
like even action games in industrial areas where there are way too many CRATES and not enough of anything else. But the reasoning back then was like 'yeah whatever it's enough so people know where this level is supposed to be taking place'
Edit: I want to move to England in the city it looks like nothing but crappy modern architecture that lost its initial shiny pretty newness like 2 years after it was made and now it's like every bad dream you've ever had about impossibly shitty looking urban environments that has just enough sort of surrealism in the design to make it seem like something out of a dream too
ahahaha
