this came out a few months ago apparently but i've just now gotten a chance to listen to it. i like it a lot! it reminds me a lot of his older stuff (would fit well on Shadows Collide with People imo) which is very refreshing after the empyrean

Yeah, I like it. I wonder what he's doing now that he has left the RHCP again. I saw some stuff about him being kind of in and then not in a couple of other bands, but nothing about solo music yet. I'm still checking up on that frusciante news weekly.

Along with continuing to provide guitar work to The Mars Volta's studio albums, The Bedlam In Goliath, and Octahedron, Frusciante also began an electronic duo with Aaron Funk under the name Speed Dealer Moms.[64][65] They were to play a "live 303 & 808 analogue" acid show at the Bang Face Weekender event[66] but were unable to, citing equipment malfunctions as the cause. They were later scheduled to play the event in August 2009, but the event was canceled due to circumstances unknown. Although they've yet to release any music commercially or play any live shows, they have written somewhere around 80 songs.[67]

random fucks on Warp Records not Squarepusher so much not Autechre so much but the new album was interesting u-ziq Venetian Snares not Flashbulb yes Frog Pocket possibly Wisp I can't decide if he's good yet not Richard Devine Burial might be good have to look into him more he seems like MASSIVE ATTACK 2 at times which is good because massive attack jumped the shark like 12 albums ago back in 2002 or something. Also The Knife Fever Ray whatever getting more out of just checking out random people on netlabels right now
