i'm a complete nerd so i'm spending my entire Halloween weekend at an anime convention
this year Youmacon (biggest midwest con) is riiiight in Detroit, which is super close to where i live. so i'm exciteeeddd and i won't even need to get a hotel room or whatever, since it's a 10-minute drive to get there. wootwoot
i saved up my money to buy a $100 cosplay this year... o_o; heheheee i'm being 3 different characters, one for each day (plus a lolita outfit and a visual kei outfit, which are not cosplays but are still coo')-- Frederica Bernkastel, Rika Furude, and Ness (from EarthBound).
soooo i'm v. pumped! and since Youmacon ends on Sunday (the day of Halloween), i might still have time to go Trick-or-Treating with friends in my Frederica Bernkastel dress~

my friend who is incapable of abandoning his youth always tries to get me to go trick or treating with him even though i am old and angry at everything(ESPECIALLY holidays that exist only to make people money). i was thinking about succumbing to this and going as york from deadly premonition but i do not trust my ability to shave eyebrow/side of head without making myself look like a complete imbecile.

it is a moot point because i always magically get FURIOUS IBS on halloween and cannot stray more than 10 feet from toilet(certainly not because of over-consumption of chocolate or anything)
