uh basically what the title says, I've heard bits and pieces of music that gets the same feel but maybe someone could steer me in the right direction? (Maladroithim but I think he's left GW a long time ago)

like I swear this is a rip-off of some composer

this is also pretty cool well at 1:21 is most epic thing of all time (lol I assume this music was set to MENUS at the time??)

this also melts my face

At least 80% of the songs Lady Gaga produce sound like they would be a more than ideal fit for a stage theme in the classic MegaMan games. Ever since I heard "Telephone", I always assumed she took most of her inspiration for her songs from playing those games when she was younger.

I desperately want to make a classic megaman game for the sole purpose of proving this theory right, but I lack the musical talent for such an endeavor. If I could ever find just one person with that kind of musical talent who also shared my world view, it would be more than enough inspiration for me to program the game entirely on my own.

hi this is same composer different game

yeah I find this like unbelievably sad 10 secs in 3rd time you listen to it

Edit: this is why you remember the SNES era fondly this is like the one thing that didn't treat little kids like idiots from about 1995-now. The game itself was heavy as fuck too

Edit: I wanted to do a loose sequel to E.V.O. one time but it was kind of HIGH CONCEPT and pissing all over the original in a way. Like doing a ridiculous sequel to a game only 10 people on the internet asked for and taking it in this bizarre direction (I had dreams like this when I was 10 I pissed myself off in my dreams[not ][/not] just imagining these game sequels that didn't resemble where the game designer would take it at all and would be shitting all over everyone's expectations and would make no MONEY sense at all e.g. a Clay Fighter sequel where the characters are traditional sprites) just like my dreams making fun of me for not being able to stretch my imagination that far even though it was imaginative in itself so I don't know

but god I just FOUND E.V.O. in a store one day no advertisements to announce it, possibly a little write-up in Nintendo Power. The name didn't tell me much either although the cover does a little better

Edit: can I just do a game with no coherent structure at all that just jumps from moment to moment and has no regard to spacetime like emotional/memory deteoration interpretation of how constantly resonant some game felt when you were 8/9/10. Although the soundtrack is still scary good even now I thought it would like sound artificial now and it does but it just makes it rawer than actual instruments pursues life dream of making a symphony that specifically calls for distortion boxes

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51lLUNakF1L._SS300_OU01_.jpg  lolol mid-90s semi-academic/realistic/balance between scientific and expressionist style nature illustrations that E.V.O. boxart reminds me of (if you go into a wooded area this is what you will see almost immediately real reason kids today don't want to go outside because of EXTREME DISAPPOINTMENT at nature) see also Simcity Simearth series but yeah I wish environmental ads would be like this again instead of green movement shiny new BP logo lol irony motion graphics ultra-clean images of windmills in some scandanavian country that's better than you designers republic sort of run-off style maybe (was Designers Republic important enough that ads now would be an evolution/ripoff of that style) when I say Designers Republic style I mean this stuff
http://www.kipikapopo.co.uk/files/gimgs/89_kipi-artsheffield-03_v2.jpg that's all minimalist limited color palette I HAVE A FONT not a bunch of rave posters which also come up

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51EMGK7SXVL._SS300_OU01_.jpg lolol weird hazy abstract style for abstract subjects like language political science this is what Mavis Beacon sees on drugs. It's basically that CYBER HACKER news montage as a still image

Some of the songs in your links remind me of certain classical impressionist music. Look up Ravel, Debussy, Satie, etc.
