sooo i started watching the show "Dexter". aaaand it's pretty great! i finished the first 2 seasons (24-hours worth of episodes) within today and yesterday. but now i have to focus and force myself not to watch season 3 tomorrow because i have way too much work to do D;

so, i went ahead and allowed myself a little drink on thursday which turned into two days straight drunk outta my gourd. stupidest thing i've done since the last time i drank, and will hopefully once again be the last ever.

Yeah, it was Waiting for the End. I've actually been trying to give the radio more of a chance lately, but I hear maybe the same twelve songs just stacked up back to back. To be fair, the song isn't as bad as some of the other stuff that is seeing heavy rotation right now. It is almost like today's music has decided to become a caricature of everything that came out in the last five years. I heard one song that sounded like someone was doing a bad Serj Tankian vocal impression, and attempting Muse style vocal lines with it.

I also heard a Disturbed song that made me almost physically ill. Do bands really need to flirt with quoting 300 in their songs now? We both shall dine in hell tonight. Right, nice... I'm sorry, I have some reservations about that.
