(Yes that's seriously what the game series is called)

Anyway, it's my first time here and it didn't seem to look like there were any specific rules about submitting games so if I missed anything I'm sorry.

Anyway, I started this series around 8 years ago on some obsolete program that you were required to have to play games made with it. So I decided to remake them. Whilst made with the intentions of being made shit on purpose to stir up some curious responses. The game was more well received then I thought it would be on the forum I submitted it to first where it was considered a good game. I released two more games after which were also remakes. Here, I've included all 3 in one rar file.

I can't really fit the game into a specific genre, but I guess the best I can compare it to is one of those overhead shumps, like Kikikaikai/Pocky and Rocky.

- Controls are -
Arrow keys: move.
Z: Shoot
X: Bomb (moron 2 and 3)
F1: Pause and bring up the help
ESC: Quit the game

what these games have is that amateur, dyi quality that I think gamemaker really celebrated in its early days. the game maker's hand leaves a distinctive mark on the game, revealing aspects of the game making process to the player. this is what makes things like the jail scene where you first meet evil z in part 2 work. the graphics are good too: it's nice to see someone create their own graphics in their own style, even if it means looking deliberately amateurish. that said, the gameplay itself isn't fun at all, but I guess you know that. I mean like, trying to hit x elemental guy while dodging his x elemental bullets is just a chore. I don't think this is a major issue but it's something you might want to think about if you continue making games like this
