Interesting coincidence, I actually did a summer internship at Retinex Media. The work mainly entailed unloading large pallets of paper or machine parts from truck, very difficult in July heat. I never saw how the wonderful videos are produced but I was given rare commemorative DVD that collects the first 30.

battle system is weird it's like they had to make it reminiscent of an RPG with random battles. It's interesting though it doesn't seem like you can avoid getting hurt?
