Paging chef and kat lake and thecatamites to this thread. I know you can hear me. I am sending out mental internet magnetic psi-waves. You need to come see this -- a curation of acclaimed artist,
Nemper.
Attack of the Giant Bear. 1993.
Stomped by Boys Wearing Socks. 1992.
Bad Night at the Restaurant.Billy, Paperboy and Ethan went out to a restaurant for a civilized meal. They parked their Cadillac in the dining room after crashing through the front window, and then sat down at a table and ordered food. During the course of the meal, the waiter -- who was wearing a frizzy green wig and looked purely ridiculous-- did something to offend Ethan, causing him to carve at the table with his steel fingernails in anger, while flinging wine at him. In the background, a piggishly obese man douses himself with his own drink at the same time, as if by mad design, but rest assured it was merely a coincidence.

Strangled in the Night. 1988.

When their friends are arrested by the corrupt State Police in their immoral scheme to "pacify" the town of Boboville by eliminating all teenagers, Ethan and Jay set out to rescue them--- by crashing through the wall of the warehouse where they are being held, in a stolen semi, firing submachinegines, while laughing. They save their friends and blow up the building, then drive away again. From 1988.

After wreaking havoc at the shopping mall by running through stores throwing stuff around, drowning old ladies in the fountain, and kicking people down the escalator, the guys fled down the highway in their car, chased by the cops. There was a gun battle-- seen here. Naturally, our heroes escaped unharmed, although a dozen other cars crashed and blew up. From 1992.

Just a bunch of teen friends hanging out at their secret mansion where they live without adult supervision. The head of the household is 19. They are all pretty wild, fun loving boys. Swimming! Skateboarding indoors!! The ritual sacrifice of a bald-headed midget!! MOONLIGHT!! What more could you expect!?
Drawn in 1996.
This is it. A mind-blowing expression of weird queer punk horror. When I first saw this picture and realized what it meant I was stunned and couldn't think for a minute.
Nemper's most interesting stuff is his 1985-1995 gallery, when his style was less refined and every piece has a really uncomfortable, peculiar idiosyncrasy of thought and design. And I don't have a DeviantArt account. So I don't even know what his works marked
Mature are like. I can hardly guess.
