on a lark,I tried calling the 800 number, and looking up the 318 area code number.  The 800 number is now the property of some kind of robodialing old people's health insurance company or something, and (!!!) Softdisk apparently still exists and uses the 318 number, but they're now just an Internet Service Provider.  I almost want to dial up and ask if they've still got Catacomb disks, and just HOW NASTY it is in the Catacombs these days.

a festive skeleton camp. I believe there to be a skeleton city in the background, undoubtedly a more 'humane' place than even the urban centers ranked highest by the putrid flesh bureaucracy. the undeath and life of american cities, the social life of small undead spaces...the secrets to wicked cities were never lost to skeletonkind.

no "bones" about it, if my feeble knowledge of French is any indication, we can be sure that the skeletons of Satanville love a good boat race.

on the topic of satanville, evidently there was a pretty wild ceremony in Detroit recently to unveil a statue of Baphomet in protest of the dumb 10 commandments statue on federal property thing

for the record, this is how I want my funeral to go

Although it's clearly a parody, I have this image/fantasy in my mind that this really is some rich millionare kid living in a huge mansion (inheritance from dead millionare parents) and spends all his time making youtube reviews of cheeseburgers and monster energy drinks

Classics of Game series on YouTube. Every one of these is amazing worth watching, go look up the rest. This video format (0-1 minutes of something interesting happening in a game) is the one I am most interested in.

did you know the ToG boys are behind the Classics of Game videos?

they're so great, I love how they decontextualized little bits of these obscure games into something grotesque
