I've been meaning to verify this quote:

and last night I dreamt that I looked up nikola tesla quotes and nothing came up but racist rants

^^ aargh what the fuck

back down a couple of states My library had a 2001 edition Scrye magazine ccg price guide. It was a huge fucking book and it had both little jokey reviews/explanations and complete card lists with notes on card rarity, all from a wide selection of the most popular (Magic) and dumbest, most obscure games (?????? trash ccg that had "Firey Winds" and "Killer Sheep"). One game was all about ANTS and all the cards were the most disgusting red lineart over bright white, just awful. From this tome I also learned that the very earliest prototype Magic cards used Calvin and Hobbes art (turning into safe midair = Earthbind). I fully intend to go back to that library and nab that book for myself someday because it's not the sort of thing you can just order online, and it constituted many many lendings worth of gaming inspiration.

Some trivia from the author http://www.farawaypress.com/nonfiction/ccgguide.html

M- My god. This one thanks you.

The New Age Millennium is an expose of symbols, slogans and Hidden Agendas! An integration of traditional & contemporary wisdom enlivened by rich experience about this subject matter. One of the most illuminating books on the New Age movement, one world government, humanism, religion, the Illuminati and Free Masonry.

This is another book I intend to acquire at some point. It is written by Lamont from Sanford and Son.

The Chipmunks slowed down by like 60%. Amazing stuff. https://soundcloud.com/alvin-thechipmunkson16sp/walk-like-an-egyptian?in=alvin-thechipmunkson16sp/sets/sludgefest]Walk Like An Egyptian[/url] is especially good. Just wait for the killer guitar shreds halfway through.

I didn't realize alvin and the chipmunks and the chipettes had such subversive content. talkin about corrupt cops in the donut shop. in "Heaven" it sounds like like the Ettes are denying the Christian principle of Heaven as a place of transcendence in the afterlife, but really they are just embracing the Oneida Community's concept of Perfectionism in attaining the millennial kingdom for the living on earth.

My Sharona is about the singer's 17 year old girlfriend (he was 25) and has lines like "I always get it up for the touch of the younger kind".

WHAT THE FUCK, man, can you please point me in the direction of more information about that game? A weird weed-themed LSD-style wanderthon from ages past is like something STRAIGHT outta one of my dreams.

This is the designer's old page... it seems the only references to them outside of their own vanished site is a bunch of defunct company indices saying Happy Capitalist Productions dissolved 2004~..... and seekers like us who yanked it out of the mud.... provided links...

"Happy Capitalist's CEO sits at his Mac, a bong nearby, navigating the company's [animation-packed] Myst-meets-marijuana excursion into cannabis country, a grass-roots effort created in this eleven-foot-wide Hudson St. railroad flat."
"The [$24.95] disk produces the burbling sound of smoke sucked through a bong, and suddenly, you're in a virtual hash bar...offered a thick Hershey-bar-size slab of elite Parvatti hash. 'We did a lot of intense research,' says Happy Capitalist co-founder Stephen McLaughlin."
"Pothead has a message too, man. Clicking on a pulsating brain offering random sound bytes (cultivation secrets, a man recalling maternal chastisement for smoking pot), Eric says, 'There's no way to reference anything on the disk. You've got to wander and learn for yourself. That's the best way to learn about pot, or anything, really.' Adds McLaughlin, 'If you're not a relaxed and explorative person, the CD-ROM will annoy you.'"
