actually I'm not sure if I like it, it's like Earthbound music dumbed down for the plebs... Earthbound music had like TEXTURE and TIMBRE and TEXTUMBRE and it was on a freaking SNES, this is like generic brostep textures with some chip vsts thrown in. Where's the eerie woozy Earthbound synth drones. To me Venetian Snares kind of inherited that wooziness and built on it

no but that neural network classifier thing is important to me because there was that article where supposedly good pixel art is good at conveying a high res image, like if you drew a high res picture of Ryu over it it would look right? and the neural network thing does generate good/charming pixel art imo. pixel art theory
