POV you are alone and isolated in a permanently incomprehensible world you spent your whole life thinking you understood, but that was just a dream, and the illusion had helped you tread water, but now that it's dispelled you're forever lost and there's no return

For those keeping track of Haachama’s displaced timeline. The original video of Otaku Room Tour aired on August 15th, 2020 so we are still about seven months displaced and the days seem to advance in a one to one manner in relation to when Haachama slipped out of our timeline five days ago. Fun fact, in one more displaced time month, Holo En will exist in the Haachama timeline.

god i hate anime
at least what it is in 2021, all the 80s-90s animes seemed cool like Akira and stuff
if you've got any recommendations that's fine, I just can't wade through the sea of crap anime anymore looking for a Cowboy Bebop or something
I wish I could, but I ain't seen a anime in probably a decade. One I haven't already seen, at least. But coincidentally I was checking out youtube clips of Akira again recently, and every time I go back to it I recognize another MAJOR THEME that I had previously missed or at least minimized/didn't realize the full implications of. I watched it when I was like 15 and didn't like it, then I think twice in my 20s and really liked it and understood a lot more of it. I think I'm finally ready to declare it """officially good""" but I need to sit down and watch the full thing all the way through again to make sure.
so the videos I linked above are a whole fucking world of
virtual youtubers that apparently stream themselves playing video games and interact with fans, and that's all they are. there's like 50 of them and they each have millions of viewers, and people like dedicate their lives to these fictional youtube streamers and deciphering their storylines. that's why I'm permanently lost in an utterly indecipherable world I no longer have any comprehension of or even footholds toward understanding
this is like when Cicada and I were diving deep into the algorithm-generated youtube series with spiderman/elsa etc and then the "7 perfect angels" or whatever it was and its 1000 different iterations of 7 girls with a saccharine descriptor (which btw turned otu to be a pedophile thing based in Florida, big surpise) except way more disorienting, that was weird and depersonalizing but now with this there's no way back
