I was thinking about, I don't think Earthbound ever had a gas station as an area in the game, unless I'm missing something in Mother 1 or 3 (I never finished those) I guess the Dusty Dunes drug store is like a rest stop, could have a gas station, just not shown? And Earthbound had the gas pump enemies too, so they're acknowledging that cars need fuel. There's a bus station in Earthbound. I guess the games never had a stadium either, unless again, it's in the other 2 games. Just some mundane real life areas that I think the Mother series omitted. No airports although like the stadium, maybe they didn't include it because it would've been too big an area for the game's memory to handle
