I don't care if you steal my stuff as long as it's not diamonds or slime balls and you don't take all of it.

also I've seen tons of different people playing on the server but only 3 or 4 different bases, all near the spawn area. I've hidden some neat rest stops and tombs around the world, but I don't think anyone has ever seen them. exploration is pretty useless and difficult right now.

I've stumbled upon a few little developments far far away from the spawn.

idk why but someone smoothed over my artificial natural bridge and installed a railroad with a shack at one of the entrances to my tomb. it's ok I guess, makes it more noticeable and less naturalistic than I'd like though. edit: oh it's a house now. it's ok! just know there's someone underneath you. edit: that's a bad place for a bed. edit: should look fine with more trees

Did some exploring today to see what's new. Interesting places you guys have created!

Yeah that spot is a work in progress, I want to make it into a natrualistic looking mini-train station eventually. (once I look up how to craft shears) It'll be easier for me to maintain once I get the rail connected and I won't have to go through the nether to get over there, although i don't mind taking the time to re-route the rail if it would do better underground, since I already have a grasp of where everything is already placed around there. (Edit: it is a nice house under there I noticed, but every time I use the bed down there, I get greeted by a mob. I just wall off that poorly placed bed whenever I sleep for the time being, but the accommodations are definitely temporary, and whoever originally built that spot can renovate any of the things I built as they please. I just wanted a quick access from my rail station, since there seemed to be a lot of interesting stuff going on around that particular hideout)

Also, I'm getting us lots of TNT. If we can find that spot where those slimes were encountered, I can blast open a chunk of space in the bottom 16 layers just for spawning slimes.

there's the occasional slime coming up in my base at the bottom, past the mob spawner. but i've cleared and TNTed a fairly large area and haven't seen really much more.

We'll figure out how those pesky slimes are spawning soon enough. In fact, I have a feeling that the age of endless sticky pistons is going to be upon our humble server in pretty much no time at all. (or at least as soon as they release an update that allows the placement of vertical pistons along with horizontal ones)

rather not but w/e. I've got a path leading far away in the nether if you want to create new bases on the other end. unless I'm mistaken, once the portal is set up and used it should generate land on the other end using the new code. could be that a new world is required to see the new landgen features, though, as was the case with a couple earlier updates
