I remember someone suggesting a great paint program a few years back which was used to convert images to .png with little loss of colour. I think a few used it for converting graphics into rpg maker.. anyone remember the name?

Was it iDraw? I remember way back everyone used to use iDraw to edit their RPG Maker sets to prevent the loss of colors.

paint shop 9 i think I used to use it a lot RPG maker.

well, a great converter is Irfranview.,but it's not really a paint program.

wow gimp has evolved since the last time I used it. Looks more like photoshop now. Then again every paint program looks like photoshop
