Guild wars nightfall collectors edition! yes they printed too many and it sells for under a tenner on amazon regularly, but mine's rare in that my sister paid full price for it as a surprise present, like, £50

Other than that probably some final fantasy shit unless the original resident evil is worth anything

It's a cult game but not very rare I think (or at least not hard to get).
edit: unless you really mean the 1989 game Populous, the actual original. That one's harder to get.

Wish I had an original Jazz Jackrabbit full CD for PC. It's apparently so rare I've never even seen it pop up anywhere, neither on ebay nor a major dutch trading site.

Inindo for SNES

Most have probably never heard of it. If you can find it, it is worth buying. Takes a butt-load of time to beat and has a lot of elements to it, including multiple ways to beat the game (if you can, it's damn hard).

Plus, you are a ninja.
Sweet online game in alpha.

My rare gemz:
Castlevania: SOTN (ebay), Suikoden I (ebay), Suikoden 2, Earthbound (incl. box and guide), Disgaea 1 (lucky find), and Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne (lucky find)

You know, those are all on my favourite games of all time list other than Suikoden 1 (no offense)

I've been hitting up the pawn shop for SNES games lately, including Secret of Evermore. I think I saw Inindo there, maybe I'll pick it up.

I have some old games like Rise of Nations, A Bug's Life and Final Fantasy VII for the PC but i don't know if those are THAT rare. I guess the rarest in my collection would be an original japanese Chrono Trigger for the SNES (along with a japanese SNES to play it :P )

It's my mom's boyfriend's games my god he even had FF2 and 3 in same condition to top it off Chrono trigger I did not open it but I assume it's in the same condition. Really well kept games. Some rare stuff there.

I DID own Suikoden 2 Pal with an ultra rare Suikoden 2 demo disc, but we sold it on eBay before Christmas. I say "sold" - apparently it didn't get to its location and the dude complained to PayPal meaning I was £72 down on the deal. I didn't get the game back, plus I'd spent the £72 like the second it came in (on BILLS oh no) so I effectively lost both things. It really fucking sucked as I was really happy about having an original copy of Suikoden 2 :(.

Paolo is to blame - he lost the postage receipt, meaning we had no proof it was even sent.

That was my thinking. He'd sent me a message previously offering to buy it for £20 off-site, but I was all "Erm no it is worth way more than that". Then he outbid every other person who bid (like seven of them) each time they bid, it was like them1, him, them2, him, them3, him.

That's probably pretty paranoid of me maybe, but I did sense some shit was up. I don't think the post service actually LOSES shit - isn't that just an excuse for why you haven't paid your gas bill or whatever?

Well sometimes they do I think it's rare but it sure happens. Most normal shipping covers for 100$ I think but that may very on different companies.

I imagine it may be my copy of Bubble Bobble for the NES, but I have no idea how rare that is. Either that or Diablo on PSX, or Pokemon Stadium GS for the N64. I've never given it any thought how rare any of my games are, but my collection's not that huge at the moment so it doesn't take me long to think about what's in there :P

On a side note, I do own something most residents of the UK and North America will never have seen in person, but the rest of Europe would just shrug: my French and German, respectively, copies of FF8 and FF7 on PSX that I bought during my A-levels. Huge help, they were, despite being the most bizarre translations I have ever seen. French FF8 seems to have been translated straight from Japanese; either that or they looked at the English version then tried really hard to forget it... the scene where Ward loses his voice? No, he takes a vow of silence instead. I'm not joking. Oh, and loads of items that had English names in the English version have different English names in the French version, including a loot item called "9-inch nail" that the game describes as the "claw of an industrial monster." Worldwide punomenon.

I have that too, but I don't think it's worth that much.
