personally i have one character i mostly play called Tallcleric who is on the guardian side of the server Rasmolov (PvP) who is also a cleric at level 28

I heard it's ok but I'm never playing another mmorpg

yeah i want to try Rift just because I still kind of like WoW, but I just can't bring myself to play games like anymore. I was contemplating buying Rift but instead i just logged into WoW (my account is active because my brother plays it) and tried to play for like an hour. I was so bored.

haha I quit WoW because it was just boring me so much. It got to the point where I'd log on and just sit in org for like 20min just doing nothing but shifting in and out of bird form.

I tried rift and it caught me with the "it feels like WoW but plays completely differently in a different setting" its nice

It doesn't surprise me that the UI looks almost cloned from WoW.

i'm sorry i really wanted to say that and couldn't bring myself to stop myself. it was the excitement of the moment/inspiration of the moment. sorry if i ruined your topic...

I got into the closed beta, playd it once, didn't bother again, i'm not going to play an mmo that is almost a clone of wow, it DOES have some interesting things however, you can almost make your own class, and the rift encounters are an interesting concept.

what a boring visual style

im getting furthur in and my first air rift ...was so cool...

this game seems too much like wow. i bet once the initial novelty wears down you'll be bored in no time if you have played a lot of wow. i read a few reviews and impressions and i just get the feeling rift is playing it too safe.

yeah if that happens it'll probably be soon at least, so I won't end up buying a second month

but so far all I'm doing is having fun...

then i guess it was money well spent.
