Great suggestions so far, I'd just chuck another vote for Outkast. They started me getting into hip hop and Aquemini/ATLiens are two of the most incredible CDs of any genre I've ever heard.

i kind of see why as indie rock for people who like rap. yoni writes like a rapper but uses none of the same imagery or delivery. i usually get bored listening to indie rock but why holds my attention for whatever reason. my favourite: fatalist palmistry.

That Nocando and Busdriver song is great, I always liked Nocando battle-wise, I just figured he needed some guidance and Busdriver is a good call.

yeah, i agree. it's interesting how the album is structured in that respect. it really sounds like bus is kind of helping nocan develop  and the last track is just nocando by himself.
