Totally, then there is FORUM CONTENT IMPROVED.

I want a cat, but a one-bedroomed flat is not an appropriate place most likely.
Hey hey hey

I concur. How many votes do we need to pass the motion to make an animal thread?

wow thanks for calling my pics boring. the toad was just chillen by the pool but I don't think he's boring. the bat pic isn't mine, though I do have a cat named beezlebub who makes that same face. I'd like to own a bat aviary full of bats.

My years of experience in understanding Ramcinnish tells me he probably means "they're great pics but you will probably downplay them like so many good protographers do".

don't mind bonzi_buddy, he's the resident Forum Troll n____n'. that's a cool toad/bat combo

i've got a tortoiseshell cat who's about ten years old by now, she was hit by a car once and according to the vet she has the feline equivalent of AIDS (???? quotin the vet here, no idea on what this means). this year she also had a throat operation to remove some infected teeth. she's a tough cat...! when it's sunny i sit out the front and read while she mooches around the garden and glares at the birds on the birdfeeders.

here's a cool moth I never saw before

I think it's a pandora sphinx moth http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pandora_sphinx_moth which is one of the best moth names I've heard

There was this crazy ass moth I saw back in Indiana once like about 4-5 years ago, don't think it was as big but it had like twisted wings or some shit and it was matte black. Looked like like evil in moth form. I was creeped the fuck out. Probably why I remember it so vividly.

I seriously looked like the wings were so twisted that it wouldn't be aerodynamic enough to actually fly.

I recognize moths as harmless (except for damage to clothing I guess), and even think most of them are fucking cool looking (like the one I mentioned and the one above). But the smaller ones tendency to fly right into my face makes me unsettled when I notice one is in the room.

I just don't like bugs. They are creepy looking. Especially when you're right up in their face.

yeah that one was kind of scary in person at first. moths are usually fuzzy but this one was like flesh and the pattern looked like rotting flesh with exposed muscles and bones

that cat is kind of brainless, and just rolls around and sprawls upside-down on the floor. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/27389192/venerablebede9.2009.jpg

the big toad was just friendly, not a pet

IDK, there are some bugs I kind of like. Like praying mantis. Pill bugs/rolly-pollys are cool to.

Is that an actual plank of wood in the photo or am I not viewing the monstrosity to the scale that I think I am.
I dont think id have the courage to be still enough to snap a photo, id most likely run away and cower in fear because I dislike bugs, especially large ones that could practically eat me.

Okay, the article notes that its wingspan isnt as large as I had surmised so its an illusion but it looks truly humongous from the photo.

I was at my brother's house the other day and there was a large praying mantis that was romping around the garage - his retarded children were prodding and poking at it with a stick and I explained that this wasnt a good idea because it kills other pests. Why am I telling everyone this story? The world may never know.
